This kit has what you need to upgrade your Adjustable Bench into the new Shorty Bench.
This kit includes the following:
- Framework & Short Back Pad
- Back Pad Extension
- All necessary hardware
If you currently have the Elbow Pads, you will also need the Elbow Pad | Extension Rails to use them.
I change to the shorty bench with this conversion kit only to find out that you will not be able to do reverse incline leg lifts holding the vertical handle bar because you will lose the leverage provided by the length of the original back. I thought that the head back pad extension would provide a connection for the leg extension therefor giving me the extra leverage to perform a reverse leg extension, that which is the only flaw in this conversion. To fix this Prime should have a connection point on their extended head pad.
